It's easy to grin when your ship comes in and you've got the stock market beat.
But the man worthwhile, is the man who can smile, when his shorts are too tight in the seat.
The Icicle Races, sponsored by Cruzan Rum are a pursuit style, 8.6 nautical mile course around fixed marks of Galveston Bay, followed by après race social with adult beverage trophies. Your start time is determined by your PHRF rating. See the race instructions for start times and additional details if you need a provisional rating to get started. The PHRF spinnaker, PHRF nonspinnaker, and shorthanded classes DO NOT need to register. By participating in the race and recording your times per the Sailing Instructions enters your boat into our database for scoring and Cruising Club adjustments. Bring your crew to the post race awards at the GBCA Clubhouse at Watergate.
