GBCA has launched a new GBCA Discussion Forum. Everyone should register and check out the new options. Also, the crewfinder has become an integral part of the Forum so you just post what your looking for and chat with owners and crew to find a fit. The old discussion page will remain live for a short period during the transition and then will be available as an archive only.
The GBCA Texas Race Week will begin Thursday July 23th in Historic Galveston Texas.
The The Rum Race Series began May 23. Whether you're just dipping your toe into racing or you're a longstanding veteran tuning up for a major regatta The Rum Race Series is a perfect way to get out on the water, hone your skills and have a great time!
The 2009 Galveston Bay Racing Calendar includes all the GBCA events as well as the the major HYC and LYC races.
The GBCA Board of Governors meet at 7:00pm the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the GBCA office to discuss existing and future club business. We welcome input from our Membership as it is through your support, participation and volunteerism that we continue to grow as a club. If you have an issue you feel should be brought before the board for consideration, please do so in writing to Kevin Box(uescontrols dot com, account kevinb) at least one week prior to that month's meeting date. That issue will be added to that month's meeting agenda. Senior Members are welcome to observe the meetings.
