Introduction to J/22 Crewing

INTRODUCTION TO J/22 CREWING 

The Bay Area J/22 Fleet (Fleet 6) is hosting an introduction to J/22 crewing at Houston Yacht Club.   The clinic will be specific to the J/22 boat, and will cover boat handling skills involved in rigging, maneuvering and efficiently sailing these boats.  The goal is to have fun whilst improving skills & competence on the water!

Details/Schedule:
•   Event to be held at Houston Yacht Club,  3620 Miramar Drive, La Porte, TX.
•   9:00 a.m. -  Boats splashed & rigged at HYC dock
•   10:00 a.m. - Essential meeting for skippers & coaches
•   11:00 a.m. -  Crew meet at HYC Beachcomber for Dock Intro to J/22
•   12:00 p.m. - Lunch.  Bring a packed lunch.
•   12:30/1:00 – Sailing, approx. 2hrs. followed by discussion & light refreshments, beer
•   Crew will be expected to stay to help load boats on trailers etc.
•   Deadline to participate is Friday, April 15
